  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Yes I'm a newbie to the cigar world, BUT I just landed a shrink wrapped box of Dirty Rats!!!!!!

The question is do I need to remove the wrap before throwing these bad boys in the humidor? Does this depend on how long I want to store them?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of shrink wrap left on the box vs shrink wrap taken off the box?

I am with Scully on this one. Crack it open and make sure there is no visible damage, and especially no mold. You know how you store cigars but you have no control of how they were handled or stored before you got them.
