  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Sweet/Sour Aroma from a humidor.

All I know is I thought I read that on thier site at one time but I can't find it now. I just threw mine out after two years just last week. They smelled like a mix of butt sweat and lemonade. Hahahaha! We need a linky expert. ;)

I honestly think I'm wrong now because I can't find anything about Heartfelt beads going bad. It says they can smell a little due to absorbing oils in your humidor. Just keep the Gurkhas away from it. lol
Now that you mentioned Gurkhas.

I was gifted two Gurkhas that had a pretty strong sweet smell from it, I did remove the two Gurkhas. Is it possible the beads absorbed the scent and its still lingering?

The smell isnt bad, it's a nice aroma. Just concerned.

Thanks,

IF the smell is not bad, why are you concerned?
I'm fairly new to cigars, 3-4 years, and never had or smelled a humidor smell like this before and I'm concerned my cigars are ruined or rotting. The smell is unfamiliar to me so I'm trying to get some input.
