Sounds like you have it figured out already but I'll throw in my 2 cents anyway. I used to travel to DFW a fair amount for my old job and have been to both Town & Country as well as Elite. Both are very nice lounges and you should be happy with either one. Both have a great selection in their humidors and friendly helpful staff. The main difference though is that T&C is set up more like a bar and Elite has a full menu available and serves food.
Like I said, both are great lounges and you will enjoy yourself at either.
