I've gone La Palina crazy the last two years and it shows on this forum :) I say no more than $160 for the Goldie 5s and $135 for the little bill. Not a cheap smoke for the family series and LEs. You should check out the regular production as well. The Maddy PLs are chocolate spice crack sticks.

I think a lot people get turned off from the price to brand recognition ratio. Which is a shame. I find myself reaching for these more often than a lot of big name brands.

What Eddie said. The Maduro 40 is a damn fine smoke! I wish I would have kept a fiver to age for about a year. I bet they would mellow in a most excellent way.

ya I think my B&M has a HUGE mark up on them then I really wanted to try the little bill but they wanted 19.50 a stick or 195 - 10% for the box so it turned me away really fast

Yeah... thats pretty par for the course from what I've found. The family series are anywhere from 17-21 a stick.

As others have said, the maduros are AMAZING, and a much better buy!

Goldies are great, I actually bought a fiver of no. 2s from Eddie.

Cheapest I've seen the 5s were $15.5 each and I've seem them as high as $20 per at a B&M. And from my experience, they tasted better fresh. I believe lanceros are being released sometime this year so keep a look out.

Yeah, I pump these up to people at my B&M. Only if I've seen them a couple times. The family series is awesome. I love the kb2. So sad how name recognition is the only way the survive in this business, ie. DE, Tatuaje, AF. Don't get me wrong, they all make great smokes, but so do a lot of other guys that never get heard of. I personally think the San Lotano doesn't get enough props. I'm sure everyone has a sleeper favorite. Problem is there are soooooo many new cigars coming out every month. You'd have to quit your job to try them all.(not a bad idea). Although, livin' in my car at 44 wouldn't be fun. That's where the wife would put me! Have a great weekend. Iiiiiiiii think spring might be here in New York, but I'd don't wanna spook him away.

May according to Halfwheel and MSRP will be $16.50, a box may be a birthday treat to myself.
