  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Next weekend I think I will be driving my car up to the parents house and spending 8 hours on it. Claybar, de-iron, polish with my Flex, and then 4 layers of Einszett Glanz. Might be a 2-3 yardgar day.

I have all different levels of Uber pads.

I get all my stuff from Detailersdomain.

What's a yard gar? And why would you smoke one?

While washing I wouldnt want to ruin a premium smoke by letting it go out, it gets wet, etc. I dont really have any true yard gars though now that I think about it haha. And Im sure you are being honest by not knowing what a yard gar is lol

Now that I think about it though my local B&M has these bundle sticks that are damn cheap called One N Dones and they are factory throwouts but the Jalapa ones they currently have are pretty damn good. Maybe Ill get a few of those before they are gone. Although I am sure that once I get to waxing I will get a really nice stick.

If an old thread like this can be brought back, I can ask dumb questions. But I was serious about why you'd smoke one. I don't smoke anything I don't like. But I have cigars that cost different amounts. Smoke all of them during golf or random things.

To be honest they are more Yardgars or cheapies I have not tried yet. Sometimes you find a good stick in there. Other times you dont care about having to MU one.

MU would probably cut off a finger before he would smoke a yard gar.
