Snuff Thread

Not sure where this belongs so I'm placing it in the pipe side of BOTL because it seems more pipers are into nasal snuff than cigar guys.

Went to my local shop today to pick up a box of exclusive Tats they sell that I just love and the shop owner who must have seen my pics on IG said that he didn't know I was into nasal snuff and that I could have these. SCORE!

I'm still in the learning phase myself. But a little goes a looooong way. I use my pipe Czech tool spoon and fill it a little less than half way. inhale it softly. ur just trying to inhale it into ur nostril not suck it down into ur throat or lungs. for me, I'm on nicotine if I'm awake. I dip snuff and have a pinch between the cheek and gum all day everyday when I don't have a cigar and even sometimes have a dip in with a pipe.

I like using the nasal snuff right before I have a pipe. opens up the nasal passages so I get more flavor from the snork.

you insufflate it up your nostrils. it is slowly absorbed through the sinusal passages. the hit is quicker than cigars, and a lot closer to oral tobacco, like moist smokeless (dip) or chew. also, realize a lot of our sense of taste comes for our sinuses, so you can get asurprisins variety of sensation from snuff.

myself, i had a short love affair with snuff, but have too many allergy and sinus issues, so that's hit didn't last. but it IS an old-ass form of tobacco usage, and there are some quality products out there.

and grrrr, you are f#@kimg insane to dip while you pipe or smoke cigars. i will drop some grizzly time and again, but doing that while burning good tobacco spins me every damn time! and i thought MY vitamin N tolerance was high!

Grizzly long cut wintergreen. had to cut back. was up to 3 tins a day. For some reason, with pipe tobacco, it makes me crave more nicotine.

Man i couldn't do dip or any of that stuff. Tried it in my early teens VERY briefly. Always good to experiment though. Maybe not to Grrrrrrrrrrs level cause I'm sure I'd pass out from the nic

Holy shit.
I actually like snuff as well but I'm not a regular user. My favorite is ones that have an anise flavor and also Cola. I do it maybe a couple times a month.

I chew while smoking a digger so there. I used to snort but I think all the grinding dust im exposed to gives me sinus infections so no more snuff for me. I love the toque brand though they have some awesome toast flavors. I was at a can of chew every 2 days but I scaled back by using a 2.0 vape

My Bavarian friend always brings me back some Bavarian snuff when she goes to Germany. One of my favorites smells almost like Vicks vapor rub, lol. I don't use it very often, but it is a great "pick me up" when I get tired at work. It does cause people to look at you funny though....

To each his own, obviously. I wouldn't tell anyone else they shouldn't like it just cause I don't get it.

Then again, I think I'm unlikely to ever actually try snuff.
