Forgot about the La Ricky! On sale, it's a great value. So is the El Triunfador.

My go to's for more of a budget stick have been the Padron X000 series, and the Short Story/Short Story Maduro. They were some of the first budget sticks I had suggested to me when I first started getting into cigars, and they are still two of my favorites. Can't go wrong w Padron and AF

More recently I have started picking up a couple tins of Papas Fritas every now and again. Great flavors.

If you buy at a B&M shop, the BEST time to buy smokes is during an event IMO. You get some freebies added on and you often get raffle tickets to win crap like lighters, hats, ashtrays and even cigars. Its worth it to hit up local events.

I generally buy online at CI. I'm a cheapass, so I will normally check what deals they are slinging, and I also get their what seems like daily emails with deals. Most of the time, they are hard to beat and aren't always advertised. When I'm low on smokes, I buy what fits my budget. Most of the time I get "brand" samplers full of assorted sizes and/or cigars from the brand. I tend to check the deal of the day, which will give you free shipping if you buy that, which saves you 5 bucks.

Much good advice. I second PDR's, Genesis, MOW, and anything Oliva. I am a bargain shopper and avoid Gurkha at all costs, though many are fans. Cigars Intl has good deals daily, so does Cigar Monster and CBid.

Smoked a black pearl Morado last night and maybe its the Cameroon wrapper talking but it was way better than its $3 price tag. I also like Nica Libre's on the golf course, tasty and you don't cry if you leave it at the last green.

Theres a reason the auction sites are so popular.

Its attainable to have Lobster tastes on a Tunafish budget.

Last purchase from cbid was a box I could buy from online sites for $150+, won for $88. Box of 21 only $4.19 per stick

Also consider when you price sticks individually it is the highest price you will pay.
A five pack brings the price per down a tad.
A box is cheapest per stick way to purchase from online or B&M since almost everyone will give a box discount. Online sites also have tendancy to throw in free extra stuff with box purchase.
A box of Perdomo Noirs from Cigar.com got me a free ashtray and five extra sticks.
A box of Perdomo Noirs from Famous got me a free ten pack sampler. So take box total with free add ons and the stick price drops greatly.

Just a thought. Not putting down lower priced sticks, just letting you know dont be afraid of a $10+ stick, cause it can be had for less.

Wow! You folks are amazing! Thank you everyone for all the great input and advice. I've already started chipping away at some of the repeat suggestions. I hit the B&M the other day and picked up a couple A. Fuente sticks, and won a MUWAT and some Olivas from CBid (which I am dangerously in love with now!!). Looking forward to my day off tomorrow so I can relax with some home brews and good cigars :)
