  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have had mixed thoughts with Cornell & Diehl, however I am getting a little list of Tobaccos together to make my next order. I can get a Pound of Night Train for less then what I have been smoking as a daily back up by almost 30 less and wonder if I should give it a try as a daily goto.

Anyone smoke it? If so do you smoke it because you like it or because you bought it and have to like I feel at times with the OTC tobaccos that I buy LOL

Any insight would be great thank you

James

I personally wouldn't go balls out on a 1lb order of anything I hadn't tried before. But YMMV

I learned this lesson with P&C's Best of the Rest. At least is only cost me $12 (sale). While the batch I got wasn't terrible, there was definitely some aromatic in there and it's not really my thing. Wasn't a total loss though. A friend of mine really liked it so I gave him half a pound.

If the price is fine for you and you're okay with the fact that you may not like it, go for it. You can always bomb out the remainder if, after a couple of bowls, you decide it's not to your liking.

Thunderbird. 'nuff said. A pound of anything untried is fine as long as you have a lot of space to put stuff you don't like. Frankly, there's little excuse to not try 8 or so C&D tins for $50 with the BNB deal still out there. You may have to deal with a bit of backorder nonsense, but I can't complain for the $$.
