  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ok, So I have put all the Dr. Grabow pipes together besides 2 that are at the office and i didn't feel like driving to get them right now and 1 that was misappropriated :argh: . So Ok I was wrong when I thought I kept better track of the count. I said 26 then -1 for 25, however I have 32. took pictures of them in pictures of 6. I still want to collect some more and for sure want to replace my Ajustamatic Regal Rusticated that kind of looks like my Omegas in the carving shapes.

I am very Fond of Dr. Grabow pipes. While i was looking over my pictures i found the picture of what my large Bulldog looked like before I cleaned it up. I will admit at first i thought it should just be tossed in the trash now that it has been cleaned, I am glad I didn't toss it. There are a few that still need to be taken down to Briar and refinished.

What is your favorite Dr. Grabow? Not that everyone shares in my passion for Dr. Grabow, But if you have one that you enjoy I would love to hear about it. Could be one you have, had or one that maybe your dad or grand father had.

Thank you for looking
James

After ream and clean I smoked some McClelland 5115 in my Dr. Grabow Belvedere smooth today. Going to be one of my Flake/cake pipes. This was a very nice blend.

Took some other pipes from this rack to house my Wire carved Grabow collection. I still have to buff the stems but other then outside looks they have all been cleaned and reamed just waiting for my buffer to return. Will most likely refinish this stand this winter. Not sure to what color but something that will help the pipes stand out.
