Currently battling a bowl of SG FVF in a Grabow Lark. I have been playing around with the fold and stuff method as opposed to rubbing out my flake tobacco. I let this dry for about an hour and I'm still having a hell of a time keeping it lit. Trying to be patient and just sip as I know FVF can bite the hell out of your tongue if you smoke it to hot.
This tin is from June 2013 and the tobacco has some nice crystals forming.

I spread it very gently apart to dry. I always have some crumbs I put on top of the flake to help it get a good ember on top. Works for meCurrently battling a bowl of SG FVF in a Grabow Lark. Was down visiting Russ at Edwards in Lakeland for pipe club. Had a bowl of HU Fayyum Kake in a rock cob, a bowl of Strang in my BOTL 2014, and the Warped El oso cub pictured. Great time with some great pipers. Oh, and Russ... Ha ha ha
It was a great piping day for me so far...... Got a few hrs left

I need to be careful with what I have smoked today it might Alert the Cobs... So Far I SMOKED Five Brothers and before that I SMOKED Three NUNS... I have been on the look out so I could SMOKE four MONKS but haven't had any luck there LOL I am sure I will find some on the BAY that I missed on the 3rd. Not sure how something from the 70's would smoke anyway.
@Whtwtrman79 them some nice looking cobs. I think as soon as they are back at P&C I am going to get the Cob sampler. 4 tobaccos with MM Cobs can't go wrong for price. Maybe with any luck they will be back before Christmas.

Smoking some pure Semois in a Dr. Grabow Golden Duke 81. I will admit this is an interesting tobacco, I thought about this for breaking in new or freshly reamed pipes however I am going to stick with PA for that task. I could smoke this blend a couple times a week.
