best starter pipes/baccy

i've read a bunch of threads, but as us all know, blends/brands are always coming out. i've owned a few cob pipes, and have had only a handful of tins in my time. i simply cannot keep up in the pipe genre. I need a list of the best sub $50 pipes and the best baccy going around right now. I'm looking for non-flavored/infused. I just simply do not dabble enough to know what's good. Thanks brothers.

Don't know best.
In that Price range I would say a Dr. Grabow Omega or Full Bent and some Prince Albert would make a great combo.

Sounds like you should jump into the Newbie Pipe Trade. It would be a great way to get you back in the game.

head on over to the pipe newbie thread and participate there if you've done your newbie cigar trade. You get a cob, tamper, and an assortment of widely smoked baccy that is good for newbies and guys getting back into piping.
