I think it was the Doobie Brothers and before that it was the Wanee music festival put on by the Allman Brothers. Might be going to a concert tomorrow night to see The Revivalists .....

Last concert I went to was a few years back for a local group, they were call The Villanova Band then. They've since got a deal and changed their name to Weaving The Fate

The Black Keys opening night of their El Camino tour in Cincinnati, and then again 2 nights later in Columbus. I have tickets to see J. Toddy Walston & the Business in March.

Christmas 2013. Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Many people got up and left the first hour. They play for 5 minutes then disappear and some person comes up and reads 20 minutes of bad poetry. Then repeat. Actually saw Santa get up and leave. I could take no more. I asked my wife if she wanted to go. "Oh God, Yes !.. Thank You !! " I still remember how relieved we were to be out of there.

Roger Waters - The Wall (2012)......Absolutely mind blowing!

Prior to that it was Pink Floyd on their Division Bell tour (1994)
Saw Roger Waters last year, forgot all about that. First Floyd concert for me. Before that was about 5 years ago for my birthday, saw Manic Hispanic & Suicidal Tendencies at the House of Blues. Great show.

It was Metallica and that was a number of years ago. It is one of my wife's favorites so that is why I would go. I think the music is OK but hate the fact that they would make the venue stop serving any alcohol when they took the stage.

My first concert was Deep Purple who had just come out with MachineHead album. The backup band was Fleetwood Mac who just came out with Bare Trees album and did not have any females in the band at that time. Cost of the ticket $4.00. I think the year was 1973/74 just not sure which.
