I went with the battery version because I was so new to cigars and humidors that I didn't want to dare risk a leak by having a cord coming out of the cooler. You could run that to a timer so might be okay.
This one is usb I think and you can run a ribbon power cord into the cooler maybe?I went with the battery version because I was so new to cigars and humidors that I didn't want to dare risk a leak by having a cord coming out of the cooler.
Now, however, I would happily put in a PC fan and wire it so I wouldn't need batteries. BUt a timer is a great idea

BTW, I took a 2nd look and it does take batts; flexible. I suppose one might use crystals and 80/20 dist/pg to humidify, since the fan would dry out any other medium. And the pg mix would inhibit mold. I just threw it out as a possible answer to someone with a problem.
