  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Probably a dumb question. I have been wanting to try Tambolaka for awhile so I finally ordered some. When I opened it up to try it it was dry. Like a dead leaf off a tree dry. Is this normal? Assuming it's not, what's the best way to rehydrate it?

Well this is still a post from this month, so I don't know how dry out is but I will say take some in a bag then put the bag in some Rubbermaid or the like and add a water pillow. Like what you use to send a 5er through the mail. Charged off course. Check out after a week. I had some tobacco that I bought sealed that was from the 90 s that dried out. It worked for me and I liked it however I don't know what it was like new so I can't if it was as good as new. Also some say adding some same way with a slice of bread will work as well.mine was really dried out.
My tobacco took a week to not be so dry. Sealed baggie and left it in Rubbermaid.

I want to say this isn't a tried and tested way only what worked for me. I still have some tobacco stored this way smokes good for me. I wouldn't try the whole tin this way until you try a few bowls added to a baggie and smoke some.
Just an idea.
