New Stick: Irish Blackthorn Shillelagh

I finally ordered an Irish blackthorn stick. This one is 26" long, so it can be used like any of my Arnis sticks. Fighting version, with an oil finish instead of the usual black lacquer. I ordered it from Olde Shillelagh Stick Company in Ireland.

I've trained with sticks on and off since 1998. Modern Arnis and Balintawak Arnis...Filipino Martial Arts.

The great thing about that scene is that Harrison Ford actually forgot what he was supposed to do. So, as a joke and to get past that moment, he pulled the revolver out of his holster and shot the guy. The gag worked so well that it was kept in the final movie.
