Did a little glue up this past weekend, got home and ripped one out today, nothing fancy, just a quick turn. Cherry, maple and walnut. Just an experiment, let me know what ya think. I just buffed it, no finish.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

How long before you start making your own pipes Griz?
I've made a couple, but they suck. I ain't that good makin pipes, I should just stick with powder horns and tampers.
kinda did, looking at the pipes some of the guys are making, makes me wanna burn mine
I have a couple ideas, but time is a factor now, Just cant get out in the shop like I want to.
Got a couple hours in the shop, but had to go away so turning stopped. I broke 3 to get these, grain is running on a hard angle and when they get small, they snap along the grain. .44 magnums and one with a turned deer antler for the tamper
It's brass I shot, I don't let that stuff lay around. My son reloads, so It all comes home with me.
