  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Whats up everyone.
Still new to cigars. Only been smoking off and on for about a year now. Just recently started getting into it more.
Recently picked up a new lighter, few more cigars and put together a humidor.
Hope to find some other recommendations on here.

Well guys, Im from Houston. Born and raised in Texas. I work in sales for a steel company in Houston.
I got into smoking cigars about a year or so ago. Camping is probably my favorite hobby. One of my friends that I camp with often started bringing a cigar along each time we went out. It got to where I started picking on up here and there to smoke in the woods. Since then I started expanding to smoking at home. Usually when I have company or others over that smoke as well. My wife is not a huge fan simply because she thinks they smell terrible, but I don't get much flak from her as long as Im not smoking in the house.
Im still pretty new to everything and haven't really found a particular cigar that I prefer. I have had a few that I absolutely did not like, and thats pretty much what has shaped what I look for when buying. I tend to prefer a more mild to medium cigar. I dont like a peppery taste at all, just not my thing. Ive got about 10 cigars in my humidor at the moment. I have tried to pick out a variety when buying in hopes of finding something I like.
Im always open for suggestions and pretty much willing to try any stick at least once.

Serious Cigars? I went to their main store Friday. It was pretty impressive. They told me the JFK location is just as nice, just smaller.

So how does one become a donating member? I tried to follow the link in that intro thread, but it doesn't seem to go anywhere.
