So, all over the base here, there are murals painted on concrete barricades from many of the units that have deployed here over the years. Many of these date back to the early 2000's.

Too many to post individually, so here's a link to the album.

Enjoy!!!
Saw a patch I used to wear on one of those. That's pretty cool.

I bet they can. Quite a few higher-ups think there's a problem with the "drinking culture" in the UK forces, not sure what the problem is myself...
The problem is I can't keep up! Haha. They're awrsome tho but are upset that the small store on base does not sell the right tea. And they can't leave base!

I remember how much I didn't want to go into the army when I was 18. I thought I would have a terrible time there and waste a year of my life. It turned out to be the opposite. The unit I was in turned out to be the friendliest in the whole company. We had a great time and learned new things. I remember the last two weeks of the tour we had a lot of fun. I felt like I was part of the family in that company. It was so cool that after I left the service, I even went into a depression. I had to read a lot of forums and books to pull myself together. I recommend reading brain dump journal if you have a similar situation. Or just if you are depressed.
