How was it, worth the hype?

It was very good. Peppery and somewhat sweet & nutty to begin, then more meaty and the pepper increased as I took it to the nub. Honestly, I preferred the Ashton Half Corona from yesterday more, but they're totally different animals. I will definitely be doing further field research though!

Day 4 at the cottage continued....after a delicious lasagna and cheesy garlic bread dinner courtesy of my wife...now I have a Latte and a 14 Las Calaveras Robusto on the deck watching the waters of Lake Huron wash steadily onto the shore. Great summer vacation so far.
