I haven't seen a thread like this in the recent past, so I figured why not start one.

I'll have to add some pics with an edit, but the current guitar collection is a "custom" Taylor 655ce 12-String I bought in 2004. I say "custom" because I didn't want the cut out and they had to make it special, I guess. So technically I think that makes it a 655e. I can't remember Taylor's naming convention off the top of my head.
I have a super-cheap-o Danelectro 12-String with some fancy distortion and effects built right in. Fun little guitar.
A Guild semi-hollow, can't remember the model at the moment, that one is at my parents' place right now.
Rounding things out is an Ovation acoustic bass.

India Strat II
History :
Yard sale find. Was pretty beat up, but the neck was straight. Full restore.
Features:
-Hot rodded rewire with separate vol controls per Humbucker
-SSH replaced with HH

Replaced: Screws (tuners) , Pickguard , knobs, pots, wires, and jack with plate.
Also new 5way mode switch and boot.

Look waaaayyyy better than in the picture ! Not sure what's going on guess it needs polish.

HAPPY BUNNY
Corte Effector ( Gibson Explorer Clone )
Got this as a body and neck ( 2 pieces only) only from a friend in a metal band after I serviced his guitars.
Apparently disassembled everything and sprayed it with grey " fake stone" crackle paint
............. then gave up and lost all the parts.

Another Hot rodded rewire mod consisting of:
- Separate vol controls per Humbucker, plus third knob is "Blues on-off" (throws 50uf cap in line)
- Neck humbucker switch down to break into single coil play
- Bridge humbucker switch down to break into single coil play
- Neck humbucker switch down for reverse phase
- Bridge humbucker switch down for reverse phase

...yeah, ...like..,,, many play configurations here.

Replaced: Screws (tuners) , knobs, nut ( fret 0 ) pots, wires, switches, jack and bottom plate, everything.

Indonesia Strat.
Rusty hardware and intermittent output. However fixed it up and it plays fine.
Features:
All new guts and hardware facelift. Standard rewire, no tricks. Still like the red Strat better.

DANGER BURIED CABLE

" DBC " was a First Act Strat clone I picked up cheap, took home, and immediately gutted. It was put together with spare parts I had laying around.
The unique pick guard was a sign picked up at a hardware store when I went out looking for practical stock to cut a pick guard from.

Features:
Separate Pickup Pots

I got a few more here let me see if this will post before I lose my work.

The only guitar I did not buy to build up. Got this when I was 12. It was SSSS ( had 4 single pickups)
Revamped many times, this latest circa 2002 revision is pretty much the strongest. Keeping the dinosaur tremolo bridge.
Currently a total Charvel OEM kit in here, though I may have switched out the humbuckers, can't recall.
Features shared Pickup selector switch, Single Volume, Single Tone, and as you see the two switches to "single break" the north of each humbucker.
Single switch is blues mode.

The action on this guitar is so low it's fantastic. No string buzz.
LOL even lower today, apparently. Needs strings.

Fun Fact:
Until 2002 it had "crows feet" knobs I had pulled off a scrapped 1959 Church PA system.

FIRST ACT ME509
"SPITFIRE"
Well the story with this thing was I was at WalMart around XMAS 2003 and this thing was out of the box and getting rode hard by anyone who came across it. Including me. It came with a toy amp, gig bag, strap,CD, and other amenities, For like $129 at the time. Of course all the extras were missing. But I could not believe how easy it was to play. It felt like it belonged in my hands. And it was straight ! Later that day I called the Manager and asked what would he want for the demo guitar and he told me "It's not a WalMart guitar. The vision center actually sell them" So I talked them and told them everything was missing and offered them $70 and the lady agreed. They pulled it off the floor and it was up front waiting for me by the time I ran back there.
That evening I was already drilling a hole for the second humbucker. Then, it had punch !
All I can say is this guitar is awesome. My first pinch harmonic ever was on this guitar.
It's like playing butter !!!!!!

Hotrodded - Second humbucker added. Vol and Tone control is now two independent vol controls for the pickups.

some other guy's stock ME509

I only have my one axe...but I love it. I'll post a pic of the actual guitar tomorrow or something but its a fender aerodyne telly. Aside from looking totally badass the only unique thing about it is the p90 soapbar in the neck position which gives a really juicy tone that's great for blues riffing and the bridge is just a standard tele as far as I know. Honestly I'm not to knowledgeable about hardware. I have a line 6 spider 3 and a crate gx 212

Not much of a guitarist but I wanna play too!

From bottom to top:
- Yamaha Motif XS8
- Roland Juno-D
- Korg MicroKORG Special Edition Red

I have others, but those are the live rig. I miss playing out.
Yes, nice gear! My favorite band wouldn't be the same without Page on keys.
Every band needs a chairman of the boards!

What do you play on this? When I see keyboards, I always think Keith Emerson.
Classically trained since 4 years old, but I grew up playing mostly jazz and rock. My undergrad degree is in music composition and my grad degree is in music technology. I've done everything from a funk trio to a 15pc wedding band, but mostly rock i suppose. I don't play much right now but I have the itch to perform again lol.
