Thanks for posting this. I never would have seen anything like it. It seemed very strange and disconnected. Did Jack Benny actually break a cigar in half that George Burns just gave him? Wow, would have loved to have that even though I was only 9 years old at the time!

I agree. Even as a kid I though Johnny Carson was hilarious and remember staying up to watch his last show. None of the late nigh shows now has quite the feeling about it. Personally, I like Conan, but there will never be another Johnny Carson.

For those interested, Antenna TV is starting Johnny Carson re-reruns at the new year. I will find a way to watch.
