The tobacco season just started here in DR. The surcos are ready and all plant are placed one by one. I will post all the process. Day by day.

Surcos are called the "little mountains" were the plant its placed. Between each surcos there its a canal where the water flow.

This one its geting prepared for under shade tobacco, that will be used as wrapper.

In this procces the fields are covered from the sun, so the plant triying to reach the light will be more bigger and the leaf thinner, great for wrapper and binder.
