  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So I've become a big fan of the ODF Flake thanks to @cgraunke who gifted me a few flakes! I just fold and stuff it and it smokes perfectly.

Now I see P&C has a sale on the ready rubbed version of this. Is there any difference besides the obvious of it being ready rubbed? I'd prefer this in flake but at 3 bucks an oz, it's tough not to buy 4 oz.

Thanks!

I've found the tin to be more smoky and tangy than the bulk, but it might just be a perception thing. In general for me, ready rubbed is a go to merely because I do not have the foresight to dry anything an hour or so before I smoke it.
The only flakes that I've found requiring an hour drying time would be the Sam Gawith flakes.
