Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have a Johs that I purchased in the summer. It is a very well shaped and engineered pipe. I have zero complaints with it. It's one of my few bent stems that doesn't gurgle
That's a beautiful pipe! The more I read about these Johs pipes, the more I want one. It's between a Johs and a Ropp at this point. I have heard good things about Ropp's churchwardens, and I believe that would be the most cost-effective option outside of a MM Cobbit. Sav makes great pipes too, but they are in the $100+ range as are Johs. In my opinion, it's worth it to save
Well said Doc. The more I research the more I feel like I should save. I can get something now, or just wait a bit and get something I will really cherish for a long time to come. The older I get the less instant gratification I require
