  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Don't know if you guys browse his reviews often, I do as I honestly trust his reviews compared to the other mainstream trash out there.

He has come down with middle stages of Alzheimer's disease. His final cigar review will be in February.

Positive vibes sent as he makes his way out of reviewing!

It's a real shame. I've really enjoyed reading his reviews. They are by far the most entertaining and least pretentious ones I have found. Whenever I smoke a cigar that is new to me , I'll Google search the cigar name and kohnhead to see if he has reviewed it. I find we generally have similar tastes. I wish him all the best in dealing with this disease.

I'm definitely bummed to hear this too as I've been a fan of his for a while. I always read his reviews when I'm thinking of trying a cigar I've never had. He has the most entertaining reviewing style and is just plain fun to read. The man pulled no punches and will surely be missed. Do yourself a favor, if you've never heard of him before, check him out. He has an extensive list of just about every cigar you would want to smoke.

Well said, even for new smokers he has great guides so you don't spend your money on trash!

I enjoyed his reviews on Lost & Found cigars :)

I totally agree with his writing style.
" The Katman " makes the review of a cigar really " Far Out" as I'm sure he's used that term. Katman takes you on a journey of his own life scenarios which are quite entertaining, and humorous, while still covering all aspects of the cigar he's reviewing.
Anyone who hasn't read any of his cigar reviews, " borrowing from the top 3 of this post." Take a few minutes and read one of his reviews.
Thus my prayers are with "The Katman" and his family.
