At the brewery whipping up an Irish Red and enjoying a CroMag. Bumped the roast to 2% this time and the color is looking pretty sexy.

Nice! Just bottled my Irish red last Thursday, should be carbed soon and ready to get moved into the fridge. Samples from the fermentor were really damn tasty. The roastiness was right on the brink of too much, but I drank a half pint warm and flat it was so good. I imagine after carbing and fridge time it will be stellar. The trick is gonna be saving some for St Patrick's.

That's one style I've had very little of.... I think one of the only ones I remember is one from Sam Adams. It was OK.... Lol great now I have to try and find some Irish red.... Any recommendations?

Not many commercial examples are what I would call "very good". Probably the best version that is readily available is Smithwicks.
