Unfortunately he has been in there for four hours now. It didn't go as well as planned but they think it will be resolved in a couple hours. They weren't able to use the scope so they had to open the skull.

The recovery time will be much longer; I will update you when it's over.

Just wanted to check on Kyler before I head into work. Praying again for your family.

Surgery is over and my nephew is in recovery, they were able to remove about 80% of the tumor. He will be in the hospital for about a week. We will know more as the week progresses but he made it through and is stable. Thank you for all your prayers.

He is doing pretty good, going to talk to my in-laws tomorrow and get an update. His only issue is caused by swelling at this point. He is having some trouble with eye movement an balance which I guess is to be expected but Riley is treating him well.

I just realized I never updated this post. My nephew is doing great, he had a majority of the tumor removed and as long as it doesn't grow again it be fine. He is fully recovered and back to his usual rambunctious behavior.
