BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

That last shot does make it look like the bowl was drilled a touch too deep. Swap it out for another if it bothers you. Stuff like that never seems to bother me that much. They certainly could have, and should have, done a better job on it I think.
I've never done it, but I've read about guys adding some sort of an ash slurry mixture to the heal of a pipe to fix things like that on estates. If it's brand spanking new, I'd think about doing a swap if it'll bother you.

It's like anything else, to some people, not an issue worth worrying about, to others, it's the end of the world, and everything in between.

The most important thing is how it smokes? If it smokes well, no worries. Looks like it is fine to me based in the pics. If not, take it to a pipe repair place and ask them what they can do.
I know nothing about pipes, but those are some cool pics, John.
