  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So I got that Peterson Xmas 2015 pipe yesterday and was wondering what you fellows thought on this bent pipes draft hole. Seems slightly high

That last shot does make it look like the bowl was drilled a touch too deep. Swap it out for another if it bothers you. Stuff like that never seems to bother me that much. They certainly could have, and should have, done a better job on it I think.

I've never done it, but I've read about guys adding some sort of an ash slurry mixture to the heal of a pipe to fix things like that on estates. If it's brand spanking new, I'd think about doing a swap if it'll bother you.
