  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Diesel Corona 42x5"

I wish they made this in a short Churchill. A 48x4.8" would probably be just right. As a corona the wrapper can dominate the blend. In the 56rg the filler can cover up the magic of the binder. Maybe I should try the 52rg with three months?

I know most people wouldn't say there is magic in the PA broad leaf maduro. I see it differently. It adds a nice rustic earthiness to Nicaraguan blends that are heavy on the dark notes. In the long run it helps balance things without the excess sweetness you can get from Connecticut and San Andres maduro. It is oily, earthy, and unmistakable.
