Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Is it that serious tho?I see a cease and desist order in their future.
BOTL is copyrighted so I believe it is.Is it that serious tho?
Well, looks like there will be several notices going to each state. Someone will be busy.BOTL is copyrighted so I believe it is.
If I owned this site, and they didn't have my permission first, I would. Is it that serious tho?
Oh, ok.I wouldn't let my good reputation be ruined by some yokels out in Jersey.
I think yokel is a term used for other parts of the country. We're more used to descriptors such as goomba or mallrats. If I owned this site, and they didn't have my permission first, I would.
What if their event goes horribly wrong? It gets cancelled, and people don't get their refund, or their buffet is just 14 cheeseburgers from McDonald's. People would get upset and might understandably think BOTL was somehow affiliated with that. I wouldn't let my good reputation be ruined by some yokels out in Jersey.
Be nice or he will send you a notice tooI think yokel is a term used for other parts of the country. We're more used to descriptors such as goomba or mallrats.
Would you be happy if some random person put on a Marine uniform and pretended to be one?Be nice or he will send you a notice too

That's stolen valor, to compare these two would be ignorant.Would you be happy if some random person put on a Marine uniform and pretended to be one?
Granted it was an imperfect analogy but still a valid question. Also, valor cannot be stolen. That's stolen valor, to compare these two would be ignorant.
Sure it can, hence the stolen valor act.Granted it was an imperfect analogy but still a valid question. Also, valor cannot be stolen.
It's like saying someone can steal integrity. A man who steals has no valor. (I don't care what actors saySure it can, hence the stolen valor act.
