I figured I would go ahead and start a thread for those of us attending the trade show to share pics, stories, videos, etc... with everyone.
I am not really sure what I am looking forward to most this year, it certainly feels like a lot of manufacturers are playing "beat the clock" to rush out product this year with the pending regulation only weeks away. I sort of expect to be a bit numb with the amount of new cigars I am going to hear about at each booth.
Prime example of that is what I read on halfwheel earlier:
"Between yesterday and the start of the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show on Monday, Recluse Cigar Co./Iconic Leaf plans on announcing a total of 126 new SKUS divided between nine blends with 14 vitolas each."
You can't honestly tell me with a straight face that these 9 new lines, available in 14 sizes, were all planned out and ready to go for this year's show. I'm sure even Rocky Patel saw that and said "DAAAAAYYYUUUMMM!".
Anyway, more to come so stay tuned.
