BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Not saying this vendor does, but I've seen plenty of people mark-up the prices. Sadly, this doesn't surprise me. I'll gladly take other pipe tobaccos that are more readily available and not price gauged.

Of course. And another reason is because of the FDA bs that's all coming if not already here and now it's a tobacco-pocalypse that's been coming into play.
I get all the e-mails and alerts for all the HTF tobaccos from some the local shops and big name retailers. I gave up chasing it before even really trying. I'm always on the go (most of the time) and never really sit at the computer and wait for something to happen when chances are I won't get my hands on anything anyway. I rather drop more money on local blends, which most are slowly closing or stopping production in recent months.
What bothers me the most is seeing people on other forms of social media and other websites (glad to NOT see it here) mark up their prices or have bid wars into triple digit prices for a tin or bag of tobacco.

Totally agree with all of this!
I thought the FDA thing was passed over now and pipe tobacco/cigars weren't going to be effected? I guess I need to do some more research.
There's a thread or a few in regards to the new FDA regs here on the forum somewhere. But I do know for a fact, they're after pipes and the tobaccos too. Some shops it seems like are either going to close down, rumored to stop shipping here (if they're an international company) or fight the good fight and stand up for themselves.
