I'm fairly new to this community and hobby. I live just north of Seattle Washington and am having a difficult time finding nice places to go and have a cigar. Anyone live in this area have some good suggestions? I've been to Lit at Snoqualmie and love it.

Try the Cigar Shop Locator app. It's not perfect but it's useful - maybe call before you drive to make sure the address on the app is current.

Indoor smoking in public places is actually against the law, so your only options are generally on Indian land.

Up north, there's Lit lounge in Snoqualmie.

If you venture south, there's Smokey Joes in Fife, and Thunderbird in Tacoma near Puyallup.

You can smoke under cover but still outdoors in Olympia at Cigar Daddies.

There's also a private lounge in Seattle called Vertigo, but I know nothing about it. Union Cigar Society on South Lake Union often does events where if you buy cigars you can smoke on their barge. Never done it though.

Lit - but you've been there
Smokey Joes - in Fife, just off I5S. This is where I can be found 99% of the time even though I live a few miles from Lit.
Thunderbird Trading Post - in Tacoma has a nice lounge. Even after the remodel the ventilation sucks but its another place to try out.

There's a cool little shop in Seattle. Union Cigar Co on Lake Union. They used to have a short bus you could smoke on. Last time I was there I didn't see it so I'm not sure as to the status of their smoking situation. They are primarily a boutique shop.

There's a place in Seattle (somewhere) called the Vertigo Club. I don't know the deal there because it seems all secretive but its a members only kind of place. Look them up online.

Dang it Derek! What he said above my comment too... even though its all the same info.

TRUTH. It's too bad because the place is usually not crowded like Joes, but the lack of ventilation just kills me. They tried to just use like ten air purifiers, but it doesn't really work.

Really nice people and decent selection though.

the majority of cigar lounges are on indian land because on non indian land it is illegal in or out doors to smoke in the state of WA. Its the one thing that makes me feel like California except that you CAN STILL SMOKE IN A LOUNGE IN CALIFORNIA!

Where exactly do you live? There's another option North, the exit just after I5 and I405 meet. It's more of a beer/cigar shop with an outdoor covered smoking area with heat lamps. Not ideal, but works if you live North. If you like good beer, they have 15-20 taps and great bottle selection.

Smokey Joe's is by far the best IMO.

No, you can smoke outdoors at cigar lounges. That's where a buddy took me last time I was over there.

Now it's a Haven for transients and bums spreading it tentacles to the near suburbs. Stay far away from this place it's a heroin/methadone hell hole!!
Of course, all the people over there aren't like that. Seattle use to be a working man's town way back when.

Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration. Seattle has been one of those areas of the country with rapidly rising real estate prices. It's not what it used to be, but it's not one big Skid Row, either. - - And on a bright, sunny August day it's one of the most beautiful cities in America.

No its not exaggeration don't let the growth of infrastructure and realstate prices fool you. Cruz 4th in sodo ride down 3rd ave head to Ballard up to magnolia back down to Wallingford skate over to UW and did I mention Aurora ave good GOD Seattle may have Amazon and growing infrastructure but the social melting and chaos happening aling with the transient heroin-addicted bums that seemed to be welocomed by the politicians living in all the neighborhoods I mentioned. Every urban forest and green space has garbage, needles, poop and pee you name it the city is a POS with beautiful topography thats about it;) Didn't even get to mention gang violence in the valley but that's a welcome sight compared to the transient drug addicted bums;)
Sorry can't miss and opportunity to slay that shitty city;)

Pretty much the same thing happening in Portland. I don't miss it.

I am about 10 minutes from this shop. Stopped by last month to check it out, it was too cold for a cigar outside though.
