I like the idea of dollar coins and use them when I have them. I just wish they would change the size and weight so they were not so close to a quarter.








And when it comes to strip clubs, think vending machine...

More waste of government money developing and minting new coins. This might start hot, then cool to levels close the the Susan B. Anthony and Sacajawea coins. Paper money is easier to use plain and simple.

I too for one wish the penny would go away. Has no value anymore. Rounding to nearest nickel would be fine with me.

Tell ya what, when you travel to foreign countries with dollar and two dollar coins it is so weird to reach into your pocket and easily pull out like $9 in change, no problem.

They'll use them for change in the stamp machines at the post offices. That's the only place they'll be used. But I like collecting them anyway.
