What caulk

I'd like to drill a hole in the backside of my humidor to hide the cigar oasis cable. What silicone/caulk should I use to seal the hole? I'm assuming standard automotive rtv would off gas too much.

Aquarium silicone / sealant is the recommendation I've heard most.

Once it's cured, there will be no smells, food grade or not.. but any food grade silicone or the aquarium silicone will do.

Check the mini grommets we use at work for wire penetrations. I’ve used them in the shop for various things and they’re pretty slick.

I wouldn't be as worried about anything leaking out as I would be about anything going in.
