Can you say Ava Maria well it was a Churchill size I started off with. Yes as you should be able to see the Cigar has a problem. This is the bottom of the line is IMO this particular Ava Maria blend, the wrappers are ultra thin. I call it their "G", because of no second banding with a special name.:cigar:

Little PerfecRepair (glue) that fixed the problem wrapper. After straight cut the draw was good, with no problems. After lighting up the Cigar it burned nice & even with semitrical ash formation. These are Medium, kind of earthy & peppery. But like I said this particular stick has a very very thin wrapper so you can expect wrapper split frequently. Maybe 20% of the time.:banghead:

The positive is this is a stick you can snag five for under $15.00 on a bid site if you are not impulsive. So I report the good, and bad FYI.:cigar:

Sometimes things get better, sometimes worse, this is bad, major wrapper problems.:banghead: Like I said there particular blend are notorious for ultra thin wrapper. Even 72 Degrees, and 68% RH can not do magic if the wrapper is super thin.

FYI:banghead:

Yes I will fight it until the end because I am frugal. IMHO you just can't post the good stuff, you need to also post disaster photos of disaster sticks.

I really like the Ave Maria's especially for the price. My only gripe is I have seen some inconsistency in flavor. The first ones I had out of the box I picked up some cream notes I never had tasted in a stick before. But a few I had lacked that same taste, almost as if the blend was missing something. Regardless, will definitely buy again.

Well the truth is they AVA Maria's, are not constistant, they are also not expensive, so you can expect inconsistancy. Padron 2000's are not super cheap. But they are consitant.

Truth! Same with JDN and Oliva. I have noticed around the $6+ price point, the consistency definitely goes up. But unfortunately at thar price I can't afford them every day!
