Ok, so my $7 cigar shop special crapped out on me and I'm tired of buying these things over and over. Id like a lighter to actually last and work for more than a box of cigars at a time...but I'm also not going to spend Dupont prices.

Now I mainly smoke cigars, occasionally a pipe (but Im content with the cheapo Bic for pipe) and would like something thatll make quick work of my larger ring smokes. I dont need a 5 flame monstrosity, but maybe a dual or flat flame?

Bonus points for carbon fiber or something that is really bomb proof.

Might I recommend this lighter as it is reasonably priced, refillable, carbon fiber, and it comes with 3 of them. Lotus Cyclone Triple Torch

Kitchen torch from bb & beyond $29.99. I've had this for about 14 years. It holds almost an entire small can of butane. I fill it once or twice a year and it gets used a lot.

Jetliner is the way to go for inexpensive, yet quality lighters. The good thing is you have choices and price points so go wild.

Prometheus, S.T. DuPont (I like the looks of the 007 line), Colibri...

Flat Flame is limited on selection. Jetliner has a new model JS100 for $15 MSRP. Lotus Citadel L68 and a couple of Black Label lighters around $100. Then there is a ST DuPont Slim 7 at $180.

LighterUSA has 20% off this weekend, promo code - 420

Bottom line is a light is a tool, like an auto, or truck. How you choose to bo from point A, to point B is your choice.

Flame is no different from XIKAR, Jetline, or DuPont, it just a personal option to choose what lighter you want.

Honeslty if I wore the lotto, I would still use with a Xikar, or Jetline, because of their warranties.

IMHO the Jetline is a real good deal, if you do not mind buying Made in China, even DuPont is proudly Made in China so why over pay?
