A friendly Friday discussion topic: in your opinion (or even better, in the opinion of a non-cigar-geek you know), which cigars have the best aroma or "room smell" after they are lit? And what is it that you/they like about it? Is it a particular wrapper, or something else?
I've always found it interesting when my wife or other non-smokers comment on a cigar as smelling good or bad. And recently I was listening to a podcast interview with Rafeal Nodal of Aging Room, where he claimed that he blended one of his cigars (the Boheme, I think) based entirely on the smell, trying to recreate what he remembered of the cigars his grandfather used to smoke in Cuba. Maybe a bit of a tall tale, but a neat idea nonetheless.
So, what cigars smell the best?
