Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
I think you will be really happy with the Colibri, I know I am with mine.Contacted Amazon to try and return my Xikar V cutter. If they take it back, I'll order the Colibri.
Thanks Jody. It's got to be better than this Xikar. A shame too, I like Xikar's scissors and X2.I think you will be really happy with the Colibri, I know I am with mine.

FWIW the VX2 gives a proper cut. Thanks Jody. It's got to be better than this Xikar. A shame too, I like Xikar's scissors and X2.
Yes, that's about 500% deeper than the cut the of the keychain version I bought. Haven't heard back from Amazon so looks like that one goes in the pile with all the lighters that failed.FWIW the VX2 gives a proper cut.

Reviews comparing the two say (and I had mixed this up in an earlier post) that the Colibri is deeper, too deep for some. I used the Colibri last night, and today the VX2, and I honestly couldn't say I liked one more than the other in terms of performance. So it comes down to looks, price, and quality/warranty. Certainly the Xikar wins in the warranty. I really like it. I'm happy with the purchase. $37 on Amazon right now.Yes, that's about 500% deeper than the cut the of the keychain version I bought. Now I'm not sure if I should buy the one you have or the Colibri.
