Yes, that's about 500% deeper than the cut the of the keychain version I bought. Haven't heard back from Amazon so looks like that one goes in the pile with all the lighters that failed.

Now I'm not sure if I should buy the one you have or the Colibri.

Reviews comparing the two say (and I had mixed this up in an earlier post) that the Colibri is deeper, too deep for some. I used the Colibri last night, and today the VX2, and I honestly couldn't say I liked one more than the other in terms of performance. So it comes down to looks, price, and quality/warranty. Certainly the Xikar wins in the warranty. I really like it. I'm happy with the purchase. $37 on Amazon right now.
