Been in the market for a nice pipe for a while, but its needed to be the right one. Found it!! Debated on this with myself for over 12 hours, I decided that I'd be pissed at myself if I let this one go!
Tinsky
bamboo
unsmoked
And knowing Tinsky pricing, I probably got it well below the original cost! Now the agonizing wait till it shows up!

Usually don't like straight or rusticated pipes... But those are HOTT!

Thanks bro! According to what I've read the Capri line was made with a special hand rustication process that was performed by one person at the Savinelli factory. When he retired years ago they discontinued the line. I also read early on they were made from selected oil cured briar. I'm not sure how old these are, but since there is no filter they are probably from the 70s.

This might be a dumb noob question but I’d there any advantage with the shape and length of the stems. I know a longer pipe with produce a cooler smoke. Nice pick ups really like the top one.
I've found that some tobaccos smoke better in tall\narrow bowls while others smoke better in short\wide bowls. It is mostly preference though as mentioned above.
