Yeah I saw that today as well. Wasn't a fan in their heyday, but years later would come around and really begin to recognize the huge talent behind this team.
Always enjoyed this one.

Thanks for posting that Bondo! Great version of an awesome song. Saw them in 87 or 88 on the Hold Your Fire tour. They sounded exactly like the album version due to all the pre recorded tracks. Those three dudes could rock!
This sounds cheesy, but I swear to God it's TRUE. Tuesday the 7th, I saw a guy at work reading Atlas Shrugged, and started talking about Ayn Rand and Altruism. I asked him if he was a fan of Rush, and that a lot of their early music was based on that.

I've come across a little Rand stuff, mostly quotes. LOL I never made the connection. But "New World Man' and "Subdivisions" yeah it makes sense.
I rally like that attached video because there's no "overproduction" going on and they just knock it right out of the park !

I was lucky enough to see them 4 times back in the 70s and early 80s. including front row in East Troy, WI on 5/28/78. Here's the set list from that show:

R,I,P,. Mr. Peart, your music will live on forever.

I just couldn't post on this......way too sad. I never got to see RUSH, and wasn't even a fan until the documentary (hate to say that, but it's true) I went back and got their entire discogrophy since them, and have become a die hard. Tried to go to the last tour, but just wasn't in the cards then they made the announcement about not touring anymore.

Holy shit Tom, what a setlist!

Rest well Neil, this is a bad one, and I hope you are with your wife & daughter now.
