So in about a week or so, the 3 large 320g boveda seasoning packs i have will no longer be needed, and my new larger humidor will be ready. Anyone want them for seasoning? Seems like a waste to toss them in the trash and i won’t need them again as the cabinet was already holding rock solid humidity.

Let me know if you want them! They can easily be shipped in a few large ziplocks.

Bovedas will hold for what seems like forever in a ziplock. I’d say keep them in a bag, or throw them in with some old 65-68’s and let them drain the humidity out of them if you’re set on pitching them.

You could honestly just keep them in the humidor and throw in some lower RH Bovedas, and let them dry off, and your lower RH stuff will be fully charged (since it’s two way humidification).

Thats not a bad idea. I plastic bagged them for now. I have a bunch of 69% as well that I wasn't using. you're right, they do seem to last a really long time.

Well, I am having a vigilant armoire built, so this is likely the last small humidor I'll need to season. 200 stick humidors are fairly worthless to me.
Are you getting one with temp control? Those look legit but they are so expensive! But, you get what you pay for and im sure it will be heirloom quality!

It depends on where it sits in our next house. I have sort of a mini cabinet right now and it never gets above 70*. I’ve been buying and storing everything else in large tubs. Essentially, once I’m filled up in the tubs and we are at our new house I’ll have to pull the trigger. My buddy has one without temp control and he loves it. They are really pricey though, i don’t love that!

I'd like to get one, when I buy my own home.
