Wad up Brothers!

So, I am looking to buy a new wine cooler with a 100 cigar capacity. No compressor but piezo electric style. On a budget (under $50 if possible) used or new. If I can get the temp up to 67 or 68, I will be a happy camper. Using 69 degree boveda's to compensate for the temps.

I got boxes, etc to line this thing. etc. I just need a lead on a reliable wine cooler and hope yall can assist. I live in florida and my home temps flux so to keep the leaves steady is of utmost important. Size of the cooler make do diff.

Thanks as always brothers and stay safe

Chris

They are always popping up on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Lots of moving and estate sales.

Wish I could help. When I was looking I decided to buy a NewAir Cigar cooler and have been happy with that purchase. A lot of talk on the forum about using wine coolers so I'm sure you'll get better advice then I can offer.

I think 50 dollars is going to be a hard press for one that is functioning. Up here there's actually a newair on fb marketplace for 20 however it no workey. They are fairly easy to fix with a new cooling unit from Amazon.

I never turn mine on, so with that mentality, any ol’ wine cooler working or not would be fine. Have seen none-working ones go for a little as $20 on Offer Up.

I have the NewAir 400 and have been happy with it. BUT it looks like NewAir is only making the units with cooling and heating now so they may not be an option. Whynter may be you only choice for this size cooler. Just remember that they actually hold about half the number of cigars advertised.

Haven't heard any complaints to speak off.

this code works. I recommended this unit on another forum. One other guy bought his after I posted this coupon. We both ordered directly from the audew website.

Not sure how many sticks I have stuffed in mine. I used old cigar boxes to hold singles. Robusto boxes will fit in there and go two deep. I drilled 1/2 holes all over the bottom of the boxes to help with airflow. I move them around in there habitually just because I like to look at them

holes in box are sloppy but they function well.
just thought I’d throw out an option
With that coupon code you can get this thing for 200 or a few dollars more shipped to your door

Kind of new car smell that dissipates with a bit of cleaning, baking soda and airing out.
