Caldwell Eastern Standard
I got these in a Cbid sampler. Twenty Caldwell cigars for $83.00. each one I smoke convinces me that these were seconds. I thought the price was a little too good to be true and everyone proves. This particular cigar has a s*** draw and taste kind of like a paper bag. Definitely not what the average Eastern Standard tastes like.

Pacific Standard from SBC

Definite difference in quality of construction and taste.
I have noticed the same thing in the past. Not with Caldwell, but with another brand or two. It seems like auction site cigars are occasionally not as good or kind of stale compared to the same cigar bought at a location where the discount is not so extreme.

I also bought the 20 cigar sampler from Caldwell a couple months back. Definitely something off about the Eastern Standards and King is Dead cigars in the mix. Glad (or maybe not) that it wasn't just me.
