With the weather getting colder where does everyone smoke in the winter? This thread is for the smokers that can't smoke in the house or have a lounge to hang out at.

I have a heated blanket I use, throw a winter cap on and smoke on my deck.

Unless its below freezing, I smoke outside in the smoke shack. If too cold we have an indoor but unheated smoking area that's usually warm enough.
I know how to dress for cold weather having been born and raised in Michigan and living in plenty of states where it gets cold. Under Armor and layers work very well

I have an old shed with a 1500W electric radiator. The shed keeps the wind off and the heater brings the temp up about six or seven degrees.

I used to bundle up and sit next to the space heater in my otherwise unheated garage. Then I realized it’s my house and I can do whatever I want with it, and decided that it doesn’t make any sense for me to deny myself any satisfaction from the single most expensive purchase I’ve ever made, especially since the whole point of having it is to live in it. Now I smoke inside.

Garage or patio with a heater and heavy jacket. It's not bad, I'm just used to Michigan winter
Born and raised in Michigan and lived there until I was 27 and left to join the navy, so I definitely know how to dress for cold weather, and Wyoming winters are much milder, so rarely need to really layer up too much, especially now that I have a set of under armor to wear and having 2 enclosed but unheated smoking areas here, so they at least block the constant Wyoming wind which really helps.

Would be nice if they were heated though.

My ex-wife actually loved the smell of cigars, so in the house I rented for 10 years, I was allowed to smoke in my super comfortable recliner with an end table with drawers for supplies and a place for my ashtray and drink ( when I still drank alcohol), right in the living room. Was extremely nice and I definitely miss it.

Had to go outside for cigarettes though, but could care less about that

I have a spot in the back of the garage that is around 4' X 8' that I covered with Reflectix and made a door as well. I use a 200mm computer fan to draw out the smoke. I have 2 older 1500 watt heaters that will make it warm even when it below zero. I ran 2 runs of power on separate breakers for the heaters. I have a older JBL speaker with a bluetooth adapter for music and podcast. I have a old computer chair to sit on and some old carpet for the floor. It is not very pretty but works for me. Last night it was 28 outside and 80 inside my hut with one heater on high.

Winter smoking area? You mean when it drops into the frigid 40’s? Actually to my brothers in the colder climates I’m jealous of your summers. I don’t know how you manage to smoke outside when it’s really cold. This was my smoking area last January during an unprecedented cold spell in central Texas. Because I had NEVER experienced more than maybe 2-3 inches of snow I was clueless. My hat’s off to my northern brothers for persevering.
