I lost the tip of my left middle finger, and broke the bone while showing some one how to drive a dump truck. It hurt like hell.

The doctors managed to sew the end together, and then sewed it to the fingernail to act as a splint. It took a long time, but it healed. However, it looks pretty weird if you take a close look at it.
