BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Double Carlos night.
Santana - Caravanserai and Welcome
Love these two albums. Carlos changed his direction towards jazz-fusion so for me, I have to listen to them all the way through, with minimum disruption.

I saw them in Reno a few years ago for $32.

Led Zeppelin - The Soundtrack from the film "The Song Remains the Same"
Listened to the album when it first came out in '76 but don't really remember it. Never watched the movie either. Seen bits and pieces of it but had no real interest in sitting through the 2+ hours.
Edit: after listening to the whole album, I now remember why we didn’t play this too much in the store (and probably why I never went to see the movie). Except for a few songs, the album is, in one word: boring. Page’s long solos are aimless and “Moby Dick” featuring Bonham’s drum solo, excessive. I borrowed the album from the library and glad I never bought it
