BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

A mixed disc of my favorites from a couple of Australian groups - Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons and Men at Work
Both bands on the more upbeat side. JJZ never really made it here in America but MAT certainly had some success.

During my retail record days, I was exposed to a w-I-d-e variety of jazz artist. However, the two main jazz guys I worked with were Wes Montgomery fans so I listened to him more than any other jazz guitarist. I need to listen to more GG.

Harpo was one hell of a musician. Incredible piano player but his work on the the harp in this one is amazing.
I've listened to Grant Green Alive! (Love at the Cliche Lounge) a couple of times this week. It has more of a funky soul feel than a lot of his studio work.

This is the band that gave birth to Rise Against, The Lawrence Arms, and The Killing Tree. Late 1990s Post-Hardcore that wears early 1990s influences pretty openly, but sounds like it could have been made at anytime between 1993 and 2010.
