Would you smoke Nazi Cigarettes

Outside of the expectation that they had to taste like crap, this situation could have been quite a moral dilemma for many people. Personally, I think I would have passed; however, I would not begrudge anyone who did.

That was my initial reaction as well, however I thought what the hell. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity. My friend is not a Nazi, and was simply interested in the "this is crazy" factor while smoking them.

They tasted like shit by the way, definately OLD. Somewhat of a turkish tobacco taste, but mostly just harsh.

Like you I am Jewish, and my family was directly affected by the Holocaust. I don't think I can reconcile anything Nazi.

I dont think I would, but just for two reasons. 1) they are older than i am and i dont want to kill myself with old ass tobacco. 2) they are probably high dollar and I rather have the money.

I think pretty much everyone gets an initial gut reaction when they hear the word 'Nazi'. It's a natural reaction.

Although he didn't cause nearly the death or misery that Hitler did, I doubt anyone here would refuse to smoke Cuban cigars simply because of the pain and death Castro has caused. And he's still alive to prosper from the profits. IMO atrocities are atrocities. There shouldn't be varying degrees that make it okay to support one, while not supporting another.

I think this would be similar to one of our black BOTLs refusing to smoke a cigar, or drink a bottle of alcohol because it was once owned or produced by a slave owner. (which is pretty much the majority of Americans a few centuries ago)

It would be your perrogative to smoke what you wish, obviously. But I'm not sure what you're saying about Black or Cuban BOTL's smoking or drinking products of inhumane dictatorships.

My family was directly affected by the Nazi regime, so pardon if I seem a little more sensitive than others. There's a significant part of my family I never knew.

Then I realized that to smoke them would show that we were victorious over the Nazis, although I don't smoke cigs and the idea of smoking something that was 60 years old and dried out wasn't too exciting. A few days ago, I read that when the Allies captured Hitler's hilltop villa, they toasted themselves with his
