  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Bill Davis and the guys over at West Coast Cigars have added the price and inventory to their website.

I am sharing this with you all to give the non-California guys an idea of the price points for sticks out here.

As always, if anyone sees something there that they must have or that the price is better than they can get it for, let me know and I will gladly procure the stick for you.

Mark has done right by me on more than a few ocassions. Fortunately for me, I live roughly 70 miles from both stores.

Those prices are the same as, or lower than, most CO prices. We have a 40% of MSRP tax.

And that is one of the reasons that we soon to be $4.00 a gallon guys only buy single sticks locally. Although I have seen some guys buy 3 and 4 boxes at my local and my head starts to spin as I am thinking to myself "Man are you crazy?"

I just came into TX from CA and nearly,.....(your favorite adage)....., when I saw how much cheaper the cigars are here. And on top of that, I just made friends with the shop guy who is AWESOME. WOOHOO!!!

Example of Pricing Difference-

Fuente King B
California: $12.50 - $15
Texas: $8.50

Perhaps us Californian's who you left behind should call you Papa Bear, send you our wishlist and the coin which accompanies it and have you serve as our procurement agent...

j/k. I find the same when I visit my family in Virginia, North and South Carolina.

Yes, we Virginians don't have it to bad as far as tax goes, now if they could just stop shutting down our smoking havens we could be okay.

I Thought you couldn't smoke in California?..
Nice pix of the outside and the tables..
We can smoke in cigar bars, and outside as long as we are 20 feet from the door of any public place. There are also some bars that are privately owned that allow you to smoke. They get all thier employees to sign a waiver, saying they allow smoking.
